Founder
Dedicated to the belief that everyone can benefit from therapy, I embrace the courage it takes to invite someone into the intimate realm of life experiences. Born and raised in Arizona to Mexican immigrant parents, my upbringing fosters a deep understanding of multi-generational cultural nuances and the challenges of biculturalism and bilingualism (Spanish).
With over 15 years of experience, initially as a Paralegal in the Family Law Facilitator’s Office at the San Diego Superior Court, I assisted parents in navigating legal matters. This background provides me with unique insights into the Family Court system’s impact on individuals and families.
Once married, I transitioned to sunny San Diego, I’ve cultivated a wealth of experience working with diverse populations. I am committed to ending the stigma around mental illness, my passion led me to a career in mental health. I utilize an Emotionally Focused Therapy lens to create a safe space for children and families, fostering healthy emotional connections.
I take joy and pride in helping people live fulfilling and healthy lives, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet and collaborate with you.
